“Chefs’ Diary”: Children Discover the Magic of Greek Cuisine at Ark

Renowned chef Yannis Baxevanis, in collaboration with top Greek chefs, opens the doors of Ark for a unique culinary experience dedicated to children. The initiative aims to introduce the younger generation to the philosophy of sustainable eating, Greek cuisine, and the importance of supporting local producers.

Cooking Together – Learning Together
Students from middle schools in Glyfada visit Ark, where they meet distinguished chefs and, under the guidance of chef Yannis Baxevanis, cook and taste traditional Greek recipes.

During the event, children will:

  • Learn about the Slow Food philosophy, which emphasizes sustainable eating and the importance of local production.
  • Understand why supporting Greek producers and choosing local ingredients strengthens the local economy and promotes sustainability.
  • Gain insights into the value of Greek cuisine, a model of health and an integral part of our cultural heritage.
