Chef Giannis Marinopoulos interprets the island’s specialties and serves his creations for one night only.

The talented chef innovatively reimagines the island’s cuisine with contemporary techniques. He will present his creations for one night in Athens.

In the stunning gardens of the “A for Art” hotel and the “Lost Sheep” restaurant, Marinopoulos offers an impressive modern cuisine that connects with the flavors of Thassos, using top-quality ingredients and contemporary techniques. This will be showcased on March 20th during the next episode of Symposio at Ark.

Continuing its mission to deliver unique dining experiences, Symposio at Ark brings renowned restaurants from Greece and beyond to the award-winning Giannis Baxevanis’ venue in Glyfada. The goal is to offer memorable gastronomic experiences with a modern Greek cuisine twist.

Until June 12th, some of the most exciting highlights of the new Greek culinary scene will be featured at Ark. With specially crafted menus and affordable prices, guests will be introduced to each chef’s unique culinary philosophy.

In March, it’s the turn of “Lost Sheep” and the creative chef Giannis Marinopoulos to make a special appearance at Ark (March 20th). In an elegant garden courtyard adorned with art and the grand façade of the “A for Art Hotel,” “Lost Sheep” offers stylish yet relaxed fine dining in the unexpected location of Thassos’ port. A wooden pergola, a towering pine tree, and atmospheric lighting complete the setting.

Greek recipes inspire Marinopoulos’ modern cuisine with a contemporary twist and surprising ingredient combinations, such as seared crayfish in traditional dolmades or champagne sauce and oscietra caviar with Macedonian turbot.

Highlights include the use of fresh ingredients, especially fish from Thassos, attentive service, and a well-curated wine list.
